BioHi. I'm Nancy. I am the mother to 4 amazing kids, ages 18-11. I am independent and stubborn. I have raised my kids on my own, thanks to the joy of mental illness (their Dad). I intensely dislike the term "single mother" as it is far overused and used as an excuse or laziness and poor parenting. LOL, 24/7 and other such acronyms make me nuts, too...like nails on a chalk board.
I work in the medical field. I am smart, sarcastic and witty. I don't write entires, as I really don't know anybody here. I just like to lurk and follow stranger's lives. I have learned a lot! It has been a nice step out of my chaotic life.
While my oldest leaves for college in 1 month (go CSULB!), I discovered I am to be a mother again in the spring. Life is good as I begin another chapter in Nancy's Nutty Life.
***Sad news. Quite unexpectedly, I miscarried my little babe in a great bloody event in front of my kids and strangers. He and I are devastated by the loss, but are thinking about trying again in awhile. Please send us positive vibes!
